Such a rare find. If you go on a Friday or a Saturday you’ll be treated to a live performance by a spectacular singer. The atmosphere feels like you’ve been teleported to Europe with authentic Italian cuisines. You’ll be greeted by the owner himself. He and the servers make you feel like family serving you food on par with that of a michelin star restaurant. Truly an amazing spot.

I had a great experience dining here! I ordered the Chicken Mia’s and it was absolutely delicious - cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff and the owner were all friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service and food were outstanding from start to finish. Definitely coming back!

This was our second time here and it was under new ownership. Victor came over an introduced himself, made us feel so welcomed. Food was delicious. Everyone was friendly very simple family atmosphere. Relaxing and not rushed. You are able to enjoy conversation and food. Mello music in the background but not loud. Drinks were great, I enjoyed the white sangria. We had the specials - fried dablo, which had lobster, muscles and spaghetti. I ordered the shrimp maxima in marsela sauce. It was so tasty, just right. We also had the homemade flan, so light it disappeared from the plate lol. Truly enjoyable.

We had an excellent New Year’s Eve dinner for 15 of us! Loved the food. The prices are very reasonable and the service was incredible especially for such a large party. The atmosphere at the restaurant and the decorations are beautiful highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We recently hosted my son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Mia’s, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make the night special. The food was absolutely out of this world — every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was flawless, and the entertainment added such a fun, festive touch that had everyone smiling and enjoying themselves all night long. Whether you’re planning a special celebration or just want a memorable night out, I highly recommend Mia’s. You will not be disappointed!

I've been to Mia's several times when I lived in Valley Stream. I'm so pleased to see their pleasant, professional service has not changed. I stopped in here for a quick bite on my little tour of my village one Sunday evening. Staff was so accommodating. The men kept checking with me making sure everything was good. Cassandra the only woman on duty was my Server. She is a doll and took great care of me. What I noticed too was even some of their regular patrons, checked on me. Probably as they saw a woman alone? Who knows, either way it was appreciated. I had drinks and seafood stuffed clams topped with bacon. There was a lot of bacon and I tasted that more than seafood. But, If you ever come here, you MUST try their chicken lentil soup! Waaaay! It only had little bits of shredded chicken in my bowl but what it lacked in meat, it sure made up in taste! This is a really good soup and I'll have it anytime I'm here. Any season. I'm really Happy Mia's of VS survived the covid years. Delighted that they can still hold their own, when it comes to good service and food. Solid 4.5 stars. **Big Smile** The End.

Yesterday (09/22/2025) we had a celebration of life party at Mia's for 30 people. Vic the owner was very accommodating setting up a menu for us that included appetizers, Penne a la vodka, the main course of 4 choices, and coffee/dessert with Soda/wine/water on the table. The whole event couldn't have been better from the food, atmosphere, service and openness to please us all. Vic is a very genuine owner and said it warmed his heart to open his establishment to us and help us through this difficult time. MUCH APPRECIATED VIC !!

Growing up in valley stream had to try back this restaurant since I moved away but still never disappoints! I love this spot ! Really yummy fresh authentic Italian food. The waiter victor was such a gem and always so helpful. Had really good time and service thank you! Food was delicious as always! Will be back again soon :)
